Dr. Nicolas Bazan does important Alzheimer's disease research in the Neuroscience Center at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Science Center. LSU is one of the nation's leaders in the field of Alzheimer's research. Dr. Bazan also shares his thoughts on his recently published novel, Una Vida. The novel follows the story of a musician in the French Quarter who suffers from Alzheimer's, and the doctor who helps her.
