Le Clercq

Ted Le Clercq is the founder of the St. Charles Avenue Tree Planting Project. Ted explains that he took on the project because he was tired of hearing so many negative stories about post-Katrina New Orleans. He decided to do something to create his own positive story. Even though Ted is not a native New Orleanian, he says: "We did not consider not coming back...." Ted is optimistic about the future of New Orleans. He points out the improved school system and more active citizen participation in our city.
