Jeff McCrory is the son of Phil McCrory, the late founder of New Orleans Coffee Company. Coolbrew coffee, the company's popular cold drip coffee concentrate, is a real New Orleans success story. I first interviewed Phil McCrory in 2006. Now, five years later, I caught up with one of his sons at the CoolBrew booth at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival where they have been offering Fest goers iced, frozen, and hot CoolBrew for 17 years. Jeff shared some insights into the CoolBrew preparations that go on behind the scenes at JazzFest. He explains how long it takes for the staff to set up the booth, and tells us how much coffee, milk, and ice CoolBrew fans consume during a typical JazzFest weekend.
