Jim
Hobbs

Jim Hobbs is the historian for the Krewe of Phunny Phorty Phellows. Jim tells us the krewe is a revival of a 19th Century organization. Jim says "In 1981, a group of three Carnival enthusiasts got together and thought it would be fun to revive the organization". This Krewe kicks off the Carnival Season on Twelfth Night, the Feast of the Epiphany, which ends the Christmas Season. The Phunny Phorty Phellows are unique: their parade takes place on a Streetcar and their parade route is the Streetcar line.
