Johnny Blancher is the owner of Ye Olde College Inn restaurant. New Orleans loves its traditions, and Ye Olde College Inn holds a special place in New Orleanians' hearts. Since 1933, locals and visitors have enjoyed traditional New Orleans dishes at the landmark restaurant on Carrollton Avenue. In this podcast, Johnny talks not only about his restaurant, but also about the beautiful garden he has crated next door. Located directly across the street from the Notre Dame Seminary, this impressive garden supplies Johnny with an abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables for his restaurant, while giving passersby something beautiful to enjoy. Johnny describes his garden and shares stories about his neighbor, Rock 'n Bowl, owned by his dad, John Blancher.
