Julia Bland is the president of the Louisiana Children’s Museum (LCM). In this podcast, Julia describes the LCM’s upcoming Children’s World’s Fair, presented by Dow. This uniques fundraiser on March 19, 2016 will takes attendees on a day-long journey to explore global diversity in four important areas: science, technology, engineering, and math. Children’s World’s Fair travelers will have multi-cultural experiences as they enjoy the music, literature, games, attire, crafts, and flavors of destinations throughout the world. Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Scotland, Senegal, Tanzania, and Vietnam are some of the destinations children and adults will visit. The Early Explorer patron party for this very special interactive fundraiser will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with a special $100. four-ticket family package, and individual tickets for $30. Admission from noon to 4:30 p.m. will be only $20, and members’ tickets, $16.
