Ronald Gonzales is the Executive Director for New Orleans Mission. Most people are probably unaware that the mission does not simply house the homeless; it also helps them find jobs and better their lives. Ron introduced me to Marcus, a young man who is currently homeless and living at the mission. Marcus is a great example of how an individual can choose to change his life and succeed against all odds. The Mission is currently looking for assistance; if you would like to help the mission, go to its website, neworleansmission.org, to learn what you can do to help.
