Skip Gallagher
Skip Gallagher is President of the Algiers Point Neighborhood Association. Although he is not originally from New Orleans, Skip quickly learned what it means to be part of a New Orleans neighborhood. According to Skip, "Once you settle in for a while it is addictive". Many Algiers Point homes were built in the early 1800s, and Skip and the members of the Algiers Point Neighborhood Association work continually to preserve these homes and the area's history.
