Troy Gilbert has worn many hats, and is currently the Vice President of Friends of West End and past board member of the New Orleans Yacht Club. Troy brings us back in time to five years ago, and describes what the lakefront was like in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He recalls how boats cluttered the marina and debris was everywhere. Now, Troy looks to the future: Among other projects, he is working to develop a world-class sailing regatta right here in our own Lake Pontchartrain.
